Drills to Become the Next Great Lacrosse Player
A hard hitting, fast paced, and tough sport are all words that describe the game of lacrosse. It is a sport I love to watch from a good vantage point to be able to see all the intricate moves made by the players. But the best lacrosse players also play box lacrosse, an indoor version that is even harder hitting, faster paced, and tougher to play!
Thanks to the YouTube channel IMG Lacrosse Academy Program for the great tips and drills for you to practice with our 4x4 Rip It! Portable Lacrosse Net (which is regulation size for box lacrosse) or our 6x6 Rip It! Portable Lacrosse Net! #1: This video shows you important skills that will take you far as a box lacrosse player but also are important out on the full field.
#2: In this second part we learn how from one skill, the give and go, that you can build out and develop many more plays for the offense. This helps with decision making during the quick pace of a game.
#3: In the last part we take the skills learned in the first two videos and take them outside onto the big playing field. Skills from box lacrosse will certainly improve your play outdoors as there is more space to play with and use to your advantage.
